I design activities that enable children to unlock their natural curiosity and desire to learn, allowing them to discover their innate talents, engage in critical thinking and creative problem solving. The beauty of the curriculum is that it instills a lifelong love of learning.

CURRICULA, CONTENT & CONCEPTS

A good curriculum is a living organism. It has a brain, a skeleton, a circulatory system, it is emotional, curious and inquisitive. My curricula has a strong thematic structure andis tailored to help educators and students think, explore, feel, understand and be playful. A good curriculum allows students see themselves as a part of a larger world and  opens their minds to fresh perspectives.

I’ve had experience working within diverse educational formats and directions: STEM, IB programs, curricula for the gifted and advanced, Spanish native and heritage speakers, project-based, science and arts, foreign language acquisition as well as private bespoke classes.

OUT OF THE CLASSROOM

ACTIVITIES OVER THE YEARS

RECYCLED MATERIALS ARTThese armadillos are also musical instruments. They have rubber bands inside to simulate the sounds of Charangos, a kind of tiny guitar from South America. Armadillo skin used to be the main material to fabricate these Charangos, but happily not anymore! Students learned the importance of respecting animals and recycled objects in a creative way.
